Let’s be honest here: having a baby is an amazing and rewarding experience, but the sleep deprivation that comes with it sucks. Big time.
As a maternity & child sleep consultant, I can help you get the sleep you need every step of the way, by establishing a healthy sleep foundation. However, this is NOT sleep training! I work with you to create a personalized plan that fits your particular stage and situation, meets your needs, and achieves your goals, by considering your and your child’s physical needs, developmental factors, family dynamics, sleep context and environment, as well as emotional well-being.
I will work within your parenting style • Consider your baby’s temperament• Never judge you! • Root for you every step of the way!
What can I do for you?
Help you learn about:
Newborn sleep cycles
Sleep and nutritional needs of babies at their different stages
Wake windows, sleep cues and hunger signals
How to avoid an overtired child
Recognizing the “sweet sleep spot”
Establishing healthy sleep habits
Laying a solid sleep foundation
Eliminating sleep crutches
Strengthening baby’s circadian rhythms
lessening the “sleep fighting”
Fix day/night reversal
Eliminate night wakings (if appropriate)
Eliminate early risings
Setting a recommended schedule
Creating a bed time routine
Creating good sleep associations
and much, much more!
How we work together:
Step 1: Getting to know each other
Initial free 20 min. phone consult to clarify questions of how we work together and learn about your situation, understand any medical issues that may exist, and establish your needs and goals.
Step 2: Let’s do this!
Once you are ready to improve your sleep, you’ll share with me all the details of what’s going on by:
Filling in an in-depth questionnaire, and answer any follow up questions I may have
Keeping a sleep log for anywhere from 3 to 5 days (depending on your situation and child’s age)
Then the ball’s on my court. I will:
Create your customized personal sleep plan
Step 3: On your way to better sleep
Then we’ll have a Face-to-face*, 50 min. plan presentation consult. We’ll go over you plan, explain all the steps and get you on track to better sleep!
To help keep you on track, or just for extra-support. This for clients who’ve had consults recently (in the past 2 months).
Face-to-face*, 25 min. follow up consultations, as you need them. Frequency can be weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.
Investment: $65.oo per follow-up consult.
*In office or via Skype
Refresher or for new issues:
As your baby grows, new issues may pop-up, and you may need more than a follow-up. This type of consultation makes sense if we haven’t seen each other in 2 months or more.
Face-to-face*, 55 min. consultation. Includes new updated plan to address your current issues.
Investment: $95.oo per consult.
Celebrations and quick clarifications are always free!

For Expecting Parents & Newborn (up to 4-6 mo.)
During the “fourth trimester”, newborns are getting used to life outside the womb. Their sleep cycles are unique, as are their physical, developmental and emotional needs. From birth until 4 to 6 months, the focus is on establishing healthy sleep habits to prevent problems before they start! You will learn about newborn sleep, how to create a good sleep environment, how to support your baby’s circadian rhythms to distinguish between night and day. You will be ready to hit that newborn sleep “sweet spot” to get the most sleep while meeting your baby’s needs to make him or her thrive!
For Babies & Toddler
Around 6 months, baby’s sleep patterns change, and they are more aware of the world around them. They may be developmentally able to get themselves to sleep (and put themselves back to sleep after most night wakings), but the problem is that they may not know how! They need help learning how to sleep! To give them the tools they need, we first focus on laying down a good sleep foundation, filled with healthy sleep habits that take into account your child’s physical needs, developmental factors, family dynamics, the sleep context and environment, as well as your and your child’s emotional well-being. Then we build upon that foundation through the behavioral approach of your choosing (if needed!).
For Pregnant People
Your racing mind keeps you awake, and just as you are about to doze off, the baby starts dancing up a storm inside your belly. You’ve lost track of how many times you’ve gotten up to the bathroom, and end up nodding off throughout your day. If so, this is the plan for you!
